Topic  Replacement of the power supply regulator pcba due to blown  +30V.

Instructions  Never plug replacement regulator back in and power on! Whatever blew the first pcba may blow this one.  The +30V drives the paper feed motor, both ribbon motors, and all hammers.  First disconnect all load, disconnect plug "P3, or PSP3" connector from regulator pcba (ribbon deck). Next, disconnect "J1 or PSP1" connector (p.f. motor) and finally the hammer driver pcba from the card cage and the  heavy gauge wires from the component side of the pcba.  Now power up and check for +30v again, next install paper feed motor, re-check and finally the ribbon deck.  (P3/PSP3).
