Printronix 5005 series shuttle compatibility clarification 5005 5005A 5005B

5005 Shuttle, no restrictions, will work with any (Flash software versions) forward compatible to newest Flash software versions.

5005A Shuttle will only work with ver. 2.04A (Flash software) and higher. will default to 475 LPM in setup, will have to set config for 500 LPM if that is what printer is. 2.04A Flash software is downward compat. to 5005 shuttle.

5005B Shuttle will work with ver. 3.03X and higher ( X as in any alpha A, B, C, etc.) However this shuttle does have hardware restrictions, must be used in conjunction with latest ver. 4 power supply P/N 157102-901 and used with the latest ver. CMX controller P/N 157450-901 This version of (Flash software 3.03X) will default to 500 LPM and must be configured for 475 LPM if printer is such. 3.03X software is also downward compat. to 5005A and 5005 shuttles.
