Symptom: Can not see bins 2 and 3 in setup menu

Corrective Action:
The main control unit board, located in the rear of the printer on the left side behind the main motor, controls the whole operation of the printer, based on data from each sensor and commands from the host computer. Tray 2 and 3 are connected to the main controller by connectors J81 through 84 and J91 through 94 respectively. Suspect he main control unit does not sense the connections of the second and third bin.
The "paper source" menu is used to select a paper source. If the printer has only one cassette and the multi media power feeder is not installed, only manual feed and tray one are displayed on the setup menu. Try setting printer to default.
The most likely hardware failure is the main control unit since it is the common denominator of both trays and their associated sensors. Check the wiring and sensors for functionality.
