Dear CHA Customer,

You know CHA as the premier stocking supplier of high quality printer and scanner spare parts, new and refurbished whole units, consumables and depot repair services. We have worked hard to maintain the highest levels of quality and service to be found anywhere in the industry at a competitive price point.

Over the years we have implemented many procedures to save our customers money on their shipping costs.  We do our best to consolidate shipments, pass along our carrier discounts and provide a wide variety of shipping options.  

Unfortunately, our vendors are increasing their handling costs for inbound freight. Prices for packaging materials are rising as well. To stay competitive, we work on thin margins – even the small costs of packaging can make the difference between a net profit or a net loss on a transaction.

As of 6/1/03 the following handling charges will be in effect. 

Every order totaling less than $100 will be assessed a $5 handling fee.

When fragile items require the use of insta-pack or other expensive shipping materials, and are under $100, a $10 fee will be charged. (The term “fragile items” includes - but is not limited to - printers, scanners, lamps, light bulbs, sheet feeders, multiple bin feeders, duplexers, and other delicate mechanical items.)

Customers with signed purchasing contracts may be exempt from these fees.
